Yellow and red lithographed tin friction space capsule with hook attachment. The capsule has two irregular shaped windows with a green and white tin astronaut pilot inside. Red plastic nose cone. Marked Friend Ship 7. Friction action with noise and spark. As the capsule moves, the astronaut inside rotates to simulate weightlessness. 27cm long. Corrugated skin pattern.

The box art for this rarer yellow version has a detailed picture of the recovery of the capsule.

"Astronaut in orbital flight ith spark and beep beep noise rocket engine".

The box depicts John Glenn, though his name is not mentioned. Glenn made the first Earth orbit on the 20th February 1962.
