CAPSULE 5 BLUE VERSION - MASUDAYA - JAPAN

Tin battery operated space capsule. White top and a light blue bottom half with a distinctive red bulbous front assembly tipped with a white plastic nose cone. The front is surrounded by flashing colored lights. The capsule has a clear plastic window in the top containing a tin astronaut with a red light behind him. The astronaut moves when in action. There are two large blue cone structures on the sides, like engine intakes. The grey color of the capsule on the box art is specific to this blue capsule.

Bump and go action with noise and flashing lights. Featured in the 1963 Masudaya catalog.
