SPACE SHIP No 194 - WELLS-BRIMTOY - ENGLAND

ADMINDATA

The gold and red lithographed tin rocket has plenty of porthole detailing along the sides. There are triangular spark windows at the back. The unique feature of this rocket is the set of three transparent red plastic fins at the back. The box claims it has a gyroscopic action, but this is simply a friction motor. The rocket has a crimped construction.

The first retail sighting is currently an Advertiser newspaper dated 15th May 1954. It's possible that this rocket drew its inspiration from a drawing in the British Spaceman magazine. spaceship
