SPACE PATROL ROBOT ON ROCKET ( Z MAN) - OHTA - JAPAN

There are a few space toys based on a robot riding a rocket and this is Ohta's version of the comic theme. It is a wonderfully executed toy. A red boxy robot with a yellow head encased in a square helmet (Why? He's a robot!) sits astride a tin rocket with a friction mechanism fixed below the back . He's holding on to handlebars and his legs are attached to the front wheel so that he looks as though he's pedalling. Marked Z Man, K in Circlel logo. The box has the delightful error "Robbot" (sic).
