ATOMIC ROCKET X-1800 - GREEN & WHITE VERSION - MASUDAYA - JAPAN

ADMINDATA

One of Masudaya's tin battery operated space ships with a non-fall action. Rear tail fin and two red conical engines on the side. A metal rocker in the base detects edges and alters the direction of the rocket.

The front cockpit has no astronaut: there is a patterned windshield containing a color light effect. Green and white with red detailing
Large grey plastic rotating antenna, though the white antenna (bottom) looks more like the one on the box. Marked Atomic Rocket.
Triangular tailfin.

This version does not have lights in either side. The plainer litho detailing with three litho portholes and the Fresnel lens-like cockpit cover make this a more serious looking spaceship
The box carries the serial no. 1883 MT/191. The other color version was on sale in October 1960, and this is likely to be the same. Modern Toys.
