TV SPACEMAN - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

Black plastic battery operated TV robot. 11.5" Robot walks forward, stops, illuminated moving space scene is displayed on screen with "click-click" sound. Image stops and robot continues to walk forward. Chrome silver face plate, eyes only. Walks with space 'movie' scenes in chest using a transparency of moonscape on a rotating clear plastic drum inside body.

The robot is all plastic except for the legs and the soles of the feet, which are tin. The word "JAPAN" is embossed on the back of the robot at the waist. There is also a blue color variation of this robot which came later.
