This is the original Japanese version of this much copied robot. Tin and plastic wind up stepover robot. This robot, although called Captain the Robot, appears in the Calderon catalog for 1976. English and Japanese box versions shown. Marked Yone. Window box. The ears are shown positioned vertically on the box but are easily turned into the horizontal position.
