SUPER SPACE GIANT - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

Large 16" 40cm tin battery operated robot. Stop and go, swing open door, blinking and shooting gun, realistic shooting noise, rotating body. The robot rotates four and a half times then reverses his direction and walks backward. Red fly eyes.

This is an enlarged version of the Attacking Martian design.

Silver and brown versions. The litho detailing on the chest panels is completely different on each version. There are English and Japanese box versions. The English box has a combination of English wording on the front and Japanese on the sides.

The silver version is new in 1969 SH catalog, art 980, and is still for sale in the 1972 catalog. It also appears in the 1969-1970 M.W. Kasch Company catalog.
