SUPER GIANT ROBOT - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

A large (40cm 16") tin and plastic robot. The robot's face consists of a large oval chrome plastic plate. The doors are hollow amber plastic structures. Chrpme ears and hands.

Walks forward, stops, chest doors open as lighted guns tilt out, upper body rotates making a "rat-tat-tat" sound. Guns retract as doors close and robot continues to walk forward.

MADE IN JAPAN is stamped into the battery cover. Power source: 3 "D" cell batteries. English and Japanese box versions.

Versions: Brown and yellow/red.
The brown version is new in the Horikawa catalog for 1980 art. 5051. It appears in the F A O Schwarz Fall - Winter 1982-1983 Holiday Gift Selections catalog.
