SPACE CONQUEROR S-5 - DAIYA - JAPAN

Lithographed tinplate battery operated astronaut. Blue version of the Space Conqueror group of three astronauts: blue, red and green. Green is the rarer and blue the more common. The robot walks, stops and raises its strange gun which lights and shoots. The gun lowers and the toy advances. This uses the body pressing of the earlier red X-70 astronaut with a substantial lithographic reworking. This was the most successful of the range, selling in much greater numbers than the other versions.
