SKY ROBOT - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

Plastic battery operated robot. Yellow body, red head and legs, blue arms. The featureless head has only an orange plastic lighted visor. There are two disctinctive chrome silver wheels embedded in the chest. The robot can walk or move on the silver chrome chest rollers in a horizontal position. Flared legs. Head tilts. One of a series of designs based on the same structure: Sharpshooter, Engine etc. The Sky Robot was followed by the New Sky Robot in blue, with more elaborate chest wheels.

The earliest sighting is in a 1977 Galoob catalog.
