ROTO ROBOT - HORIKAWA - JAPAN
Tin and plastic 9 inch battery op robot. The head opens to gain access to the batteries. Robot advances, rotates, guns fire. Fly eyes. This robot is based on the small Engine Robot. Slight variations exist: the one on the left lacks the dotted red line around the guns. The one on the right has a striped bow tie instead of the more common ROTO ROBOT logo. Brown and grey plastic versions exist. The incomplete mixing of plastic at the molding phase may account for other shades. Incidentally the "scribble" on the box art is sometimes mistaken for a disfigurement: it's meant to be there.
