ROBERT THE ROBOT TOOLS - IDEAL - USA

These are the three metal tools (there was also a red, "belly-button" tool cover) that came with the 1954, first version of Ideal's Robert the Robot. They were eliminated from subsequent versions (1955 through 1959). The tools are approximately 2" long, the cover is approximately 1.5" in diameter. The wrench was also cast in a more three dimentional manner, rather than the "flat" style shown in the photo above. The hammer bears the mold mark: "1-2331" at the base of the handle. United States
