Robot walks forward with blinking lighted eyes, swinging arms and clicking sound.

Additional info: Robot is often found with the black and white Mortoys logo label missing from the diamond shaped area on the chest. See the photo above. It is impossible to repair this robot without breaking in to the sealed body. The head is glued in place and the plastic clip connector on the body is welded closed.

The main version is a red-blue-yellow combination. One of these has card decal eyes, the other has tinted plastic eyes that light shines through. A chest label appears on some robots. There is also a rarer yellow bodied version with a chocolate brown head.
Oddly enough it's the nose that varies on this robot, three types have been identified: there's the usual stubby nose with a rounded end. In Europe quite a few were sold with a conical nose. Later versions had a semi-transparent dome to make the longer conical nose safer.

Three box versions are known with minor additions. Robbie was on sale in October 1974.
