RANGER ROBOT - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

Plastic battery operated robot. Red plastic head and body, black limbs. Stop and go. Chrome silver chest plate with a red lighted button in the center. Shooting action. Ranger Robot takes a few steps; stops; the chest light lights along with a "rat-tat-tat" sound as the entire chest plate vibrates (it's hinged at the bottom). Then the whole sequence repeats itself. No variations reported.

Described as new in the 1980 Horikawa catalog and still available in 1984.
