NUTS'N BOLTS ROBOT - FRANKONIA - HONG KONG

A squat, square plastic wind up robot with wrench and screwdriver. This odd robot is designed as a construction toy. A number of plastic bolts and screws can be inserted and tightened with a plastic wrench. When complete the wrench acts as a key to fit over the winding bolt in the center of the chest. Wind up walking action.

A number of versions exist. Usually the robot is silver plastic but a clear red plastic version is known. Dated 1969 on the box.
