MR ZEROX TELSALDA BOX - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

A small (nine inch) brown tinplate battery operated robot with guns behind a small hinged chest plate. This is a Telsalda box version. Telsalda was a distibutor and this may have been for sale in the UK. This is a reworking of the Horikawa 9 inch Gear Robot/Engine Robot body. The chest opens to reveal firing guns. The tin hat and the goggles are new and found their way onto some of the Gear Robots. The Telsalda version prominently displays a host of patent numbers. Mr Zerox dates to 1966 but this version is undated. It will be close to 1966.

This box also carries the SH logo on the side.
