MR ZEROX, EARLY VERSION - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

ADMINDATA

The first version of Mr Zerox is a small (nine inch) brown tinplate battery operated robot with guns behind a small hinged chest plate. The robot has a strange look created by the tin cap, and the bizarre goggles or sunglasses. The robot advances while the green chest panel flickers, the robot stops, the chest plate drops down and the guns fire. The feet can be either red or gold.

The box version show here is the earlier of two known versions, the other being the Telsalda box. It lists the five actions of the toy.

A factory sample is known which carries an Emperor date that equates to 8th September 1965.
