X-324 X-505 PLATILLO VOLANTE FLYING SAUCER - VERCOR/COMANDO - SPAIN

ADMINDATA

Green plastic wind up flying saucer. The saucer has a green top and a gold base. A central clear plastic dome holds a silver and red astronaut pilot. Two versions are known, the X-324 and the X-505. The dome of the X-324 is decorated with black stars. The surface of the saucer has rivet detailing and the decal "Shepard". Small angled side fins hint at the KO design origin. X-324 marked on the front. Platillo Volante by Vercor made from 1969 to 1971 X324 Bump and go action. The key shaft is just visible inside the dome. The virtually identical X-505 version has no decoration but has a NASA decal on the side. It comes in a box with the Comando maker's name and the No 324 marked on the side.
