FIGHTING ROBOT, LATER STYLE - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

Plastic and tin battery operated robot with guns in chest. Plastic body with a tinplate chest panel containing two guns. The robot advances, stops and the guns shoot. The robot retains the name of the earlier robot but has a radically new design. 11.5"

This later era robot is the same toy as the Horikawa Space Fighter Robot but without the smoke action. Plastic battery operated with tin chest plate and three plastic guns. Two minor variations of the lower chest plate litho are known. SH Japan. Art 1040 new in SH catalog 1971 and still in the Horikawa catalog for 1985.
