SPACE SURVEYOR X-12 - MASUDAYA - JAPAN

This is a large blue lithographed tinplate battery operated flying saucer. It is the rarest of the Masudaya lage bowl shaped flying saucers. A red light is mounted at the back. This saucer has huge windows cut into the dome. Inside is a revolving inner dome with a sequence of space scenes. These, it is claimed, show weightlessness. Marked X-12 Satellite , but the box has Space Surveyor X-12.. Tin battery op. Bump and go action, flashing light, revolving litho scene behind clear windows. Date? The Masudaya catalog number is 3862.
