Metallic blue pear shaped tin battery operated saucer with bump and go (non-stop) action and flashing side lights. In this case the front of the spaceship is the blunt end, unlike the sister X-07 vehicle. Pilot under a clear plastic dome. Marked SPACE SURVEY X-09. Blue version. The saucer had a long production run and many minor variations are known. A version exists (lower picture) with the typo "SPACE SERVEY".
