SPACE PATROL-7 SAUCER - YOSHIYA - JAPAN

Red tinplate friction flying saucer. Bump and go action. 5 inch diameter. The saucer has a large central clear plastic dome with a relatively large tin astronaut pilot. There is a small spark window behind the astronaut. Single tin fin the the back with a US-Atomic flag on it. A pattern of squares and lines borders the dome. Marked Space Patrol 7. Friction bump and go action with spark. Box marked "Space Patrol-7 with Sparking Engine" The saucer features in the Yoshiya catalog for 1965, the earliest sighting to date.
