SPUTNIK GLOBE WITH CONE - MZMZI - RUSSIA

Lithographed tinplate space toy with a wind up clockwork action. A box shaped platform with a globe of the Earth fixed on top. To the side of the globe is a tall blue conical structure with a curved wire emerging from the middle. One end of the wire has a Sputnik attached and the other has a rocket. The two space craft hover over the Earth. Size: 180 x 110 x 240 mm. Date 1958
