NEW SPACE STATION - HORIKAWA - JAPAN

ADMINDATA

Lithographed tin and plastic battery operated space station, donut torus shape. Bump and go mystery action with flashing lights and rotating antenna. The This is a reworking of the earlier version. The colour is now predominantly silver with blue accents. A number of changes have been made to reduce production costs. The main change is the use of a tinplate upper body and grey plastic base. Less obvious is the reduction of the number of rooms from five to four. The station has a two part antenna: a lower grey plastic solar panel and an elaborate red two-armed antenna. Listed as new in the 1969 Horikawa catalog
