Blue lithographed tin battery operated moon exploration vehicle. Cylindrical body with tracks, resembling a tin can on its side. The front and back have clear plastic domes covering the ends. Inside the forward control area is a grey plastic astronaut driver. Forward and reverse movement with rotating plastic antenna and lighting feelers. The vehicle has two long arms or feelers at the front. They have lighted tips.

There is also a Mond Detektor German market version. This is a variation of the remote control Moon Explorer M-27 vehicle.

First sighting currently 1964.
