Tin battery op vehicle - a tin can on its side - with four legs. Remote control. The remote is in the shape of a plastic rocket. One button makes the vehicle walk and antenna turn. The second button makes the door open and a plastic astronaut with camera emerges. Similar to Moon Detector - Mond Detektor .

Marked M-27. There is a variation with the Cragstan importer's logo on the side. Many boxes carry the Farylight importer's sticker.

Currently the first sighting of the Moon Explorer X-27 (Bean tin) is in Wards catalogue for 1963.
