ATOMIC SPACE PIONEER X-7 - MASUDAYA - JAPAN

A light blue lithographed tin friction tank with red pilot. There is copious space detailing: rockets, stars, engines. The unique feature of this tank like vehicle is the clear plastic hopper filled with colored beads that are shaken as the tank moves. This inverted cone structure sits behind a clear plastic dome with a red tin astronaut inside. The pilot is none other than Billy, the Masudaya astronaut found clinging to a rocket and a flying saucer, therefore sometimes called Billy's Space Car. Modern Toys.
