TWIN JET - MiP - AUSTRALIA

Australian version of the Pyro X-400 Space Explorer. Maroon top, cream base. Marked Twin Jet. Three wheels: two at the front and one in the center rear.

An advert appeared in Dec 1953 describing a "Twin-Jet" type Space Explorer from England, though this carries a clear MiP manufacturer's mark.

Also known with a green top and cream base.


An advert for a "Twin Jet Plastic Spaceship" appeared in the Belfast Telegraph in December 3 1954. This suggests that there is an English connection.
