CRAGSTAN FLYING SAUCER, BATTERY OPERATED SAUCER - NGS - JAPAN

Here are the two box versions of this flying saucer by a little known company, NGS. Red and silver tinplate battery operated flying saucer. Bump and go action with noise and a white plastic dome illuminated with a pattern of stars. The saucer has an opening door that lifts to reveal a plastic astronaut. White and blue color variations of the plastic astronaut exist. The design is based on Nomura saucers. The angled wire antennas with plastic tips are the style used on Yoshiya saucers. The saucer pressing is similar to the T28 Gigantor Saucer. The two versions of this toy are: Battery Operated Space Ship Cragstan Flying Saucer Since the toy has the wording Space Ship it is likely that this is the earlier version. On sale in November 1963
