BILLY'S FLYING SAUCER Z-112 - MASUDAYA - JAPAN

Tin friction saucer with astronaut astride. Circular ridged saucer with extension at the rear and two blue tin fins. Ribbed upper surfaces. The spark window has disappeared. Billy is a neat idea, an astronaut riding a saucer surfboard style. He dramatically alters the scale of the saucer, though the saucer retains the litho control detailing of other versions. Early style rear extension of the body. Z-101 style Billy also appeared on a rocket. I'm not aware that a Z-112 saucer without Billy on the back was released; he's usually missing.
