ROCKET JET WATER GUN - US PLASTIC CO - USA

Small plastic space water gun with classic bulbous styling. Large rear fin and a small front fin. It is made of a semi transparent silver gray plastic, opaque until held up to the light. The orange plastic cap is recessed inside the barrel opening. Filler cap on the top. Rocket Jet is molded into the large rear fin. Sold in trade boxes. The earliest sighting is in the March 1952 issue of Toys and Novelties

The original US version has a trigger guard. Mexican examples have no trigger guard.
