RAY GUN - MASUDAYA - JAPAN
Early Japan. A strange stubby blue tin lithographed space gun, a cross between a gun and a rifle. The naive shape is made even odder by the addition of a Native American Indian chief's head on the handle: as usual the gun is trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. Wind up mechanism , the gun makes a noise and sparks when the trigger is bulled. The plain card box with paper label has a distinctive face of a puzzled looking boy on it. Cowboy Western crossover.
Also shown (bottom) is another version of this space gun with similar styling but slightly different litho and features. Marked 25
