This green plastic space gun is a copy of the American Ranger Steel Cosmic Ray Gun, but there are significant differences, particularly to the sight on the top.

7 1/2 ins long. Trigger produces sparks via an internal flint. In this case there is a metal flint holder instead of the US plastic version. In addition the nose assembly is clear red plastic. Date?

The original gun dates to 1952 so this will be close to that.
