Velocity Posted June 30, 2003 Share Posted June 30, 2003 I'm a little disappointed with the design, personally. I mean, the original Terminator used the endoskeleton design in the first movie. The second movie took a quantum jump to the polymorphic "liquid metal" Terminator. So I was expecting something REALLY far-out for the third movie, like a huge swarm of nano-bot Terminators. THAT would be creepy, this vaporous sort of cloud of micro-robots, disassembling anything or anyone in their path. But it looks like they just fell back on an endoskeleton design for T3, and the skull is disturbingly similar to that of the Borg Queen in ST:First Contact.By the way, I have to say that the old pre-production renderings of the Borg Queen were fairly gorgeous.
