Robot SY: How does the antenna work?

We all know this SY robot. It is often to find (in silver) on eBay in UK for example.
But the version with an antenna is rare. Special in good condition.
Certainly there is a collector who can answer my following question: Does the antenna rotate with the wind up mechanism
or must it simply be moved by hand?
I will explain my question in more detail...

Best regards from Germany after a longer time!

As far as I remember there is no connection between the wind-up mechanism and the antenna. It is just moved manually. However I have to check it again when coming home (in September).

Thanks for the answer. Here is the whole story.
The box, pictured with a robot it has sparks in chest and the moving antenna suggested a movement by wind up for me.
So I took an astronaut, made in China and exploit him - poor guy. Now I had the driveline, a gear and the antenna in right dimension.
This parts I integrated into the original gearbox of an original robot without antenna. I placed a new flintstone and the robot was needing a new red window pane.
At last, now I have a perfect spinning antenna working by wind up mechanism.

Please note, the windup keys of the both robots are on different sites.

The boxes was made by myself. Here the fotos have a resolution, good enough
to make a box (so long the link still does exist):

The video of my special robot is on youtube here:

Meanwhile I'm 61. If you see this robot on eBay in thirty years, or so. You know it's a fake - or unique.

Besonderen Dank an Gernot
and an interesting journey!
