Brian..
Just when you think you've seen it all. Here's an original 1950s Tudor Rose factory produced point of sale piece with two Atomic Space Ships spinning around a metal carousel. Down below are five motorbike and sidecar combinations. One spaceship is fitted with an electrically driven propeller, battery and switch, the other has a lead counterweight. Utterly unique.

steve
Thx for sharing Brian - is this an uncommon piece?
Brian..
Hi Steve. The only one I've ever seen or heard of in forty years of collecting space plastic. Robothut asked if the prop drives the motion or the motion drives the prop. The blue spaceship has an electric motor with a battery pack behind it. There's a big old 1950s switch on the top that starts the prop rotating. The spaceships need a gentle push to start the action otherwise they bump into the railings.
