Tinplate6
What a stunning colorful robot! It would have made a wonderful toy.  I’m curious about the functionality of the cups at the end of each hand, and the attached ball. It is possible that It appeared to juggle that ball while performing its routine.  I see it also has a slot machine display, so it was a gambling device for either points, or profit. Joe K.
From the auction description: Perhaps the most unusual toy in the auction is the 10 foot tall Robot called "Slots". This multi-action piece came from an amusement park, "The World of Sid & Marty Krofft" in the Omni Hotel in Atlanta. Built in the late 1970's, the theme park only lasted one season. The Robot was a creature with a Pufnstuf slot in his tummy. The slot started a "Pinball" themed ride. When built, the Robot was believed to be the largest of his time and took hundreds of thousands of dollars to build. The life of the park was short lived and the Robot has been in hiding for 40 years, since the park was disassembled. "Slots" appears complete. With it's massive electronic actuator, the robot is multi-actioned and articulated. He has a turning wind-up key on his back, a revolving prop on his beanie, a speaker in his chest, a rotating antenna and oscilating ears. Full of action and working when disassembled, this piece would be a keystone piece for any electronic wizard's Robot collection. Exc cond, w/skin measures 10'H x 48"W x 36"D.
