This is a great thread, but why is there currently 67 other users looking at this? and how with only 14 replies does this have over 9000 views? I think this passed the great botstock III thread in views.

This was a popular thread I started in 2007.

I think non alphadrome members stumble on it because of the title.

I still love this sort of artwork so a bit like robot a day I will drop a slice of robots in pulp every now and again.

Please feel free to join in.

I think these might be more factory or machine than giant robot but I really like the design so I will leave it to you to decide

Automaton great selection.

I like the way you categorised them.

I have decided, they are all robots.

Here's a few more good covers.

No rhyme or reason in my selection.

I would think pulp magazines have explored every robot shape imaginable.

Automaton

I like the way you are sticking with themes.

Great covers, and the walking talking I don't care man, for a name that is going to take some beating.

He is so good I will do a little post on the main robot talk forum.

If you do get one of the quirky little fellows made don't forget to post with pics on the main robot talk forum.

I just printed this one for display with my Poplar Plastics figure...I don't think it's known which came first, the cover or the figure.

Automaton.

Do you also collect robots?

I think it would be nice for you to introduce yourself on the main robot talk.

We are a very friendly bunch and I am sure you would get a nice welcome.
