6Stelab9
I printed my first Rigg robot the Rocketship 7 (thanks John for sharing files on thingiverse). A static one but nice to test the printer and to understand and try to solve the issues (bed level, small parts that does'nt stick on the bed and ruin all the other parts...). The shoes soles were the biggest issue, after sereval failures, I printed the shoes up side down.
Brian..
That's an excellent start. Finding the best orientation for parts involves a lot of trial and error.

Elvischris
Great robot and a nice first project. Hopefully my first will be as good as yours. John, regarding your comment about glue stick. Do I understand that you put it on the bed prior to printing, and is it then dificult to remove from bed after printing. Never heard of this being done. robothut
Yes glue stick can be rubbed on the bed surface. As glue stick is water soluble cleaning the bed or the part is fast and easy. The glue stick will hold all the parts firmly to bed, no warping or lost parts in the multi part print. Also many filaments can stick to well to some bed surfaces the glue stick will hold the part with damaging the bed surface. It will change your life. And it cheep.
