And wonder who first hit upon the idea of re-purposing unsold space bling stock as cake toppers. Nobody ever made me a cake with spacemen on it! Krel Posted February 7, 2021 Share Posted February 7, 2021 Back in the 60's McKenzie's Bakery's had these, but with the toy 3-stage Satellite launching rocket. They even had one on display, with the spacemen surrounding the rocket. I know they still had them in their cake decorating catalog in the 70's. David.
