There are actually a lot of Chinese space toys that were called Universe Boats or Space Boats in English. I think it was what the Chinese came up with when they were looking to say "Space Ship". Universe instead of space, and boat instead of ship. Close enough I guess.

Yes the good ol' Nazi thing...  What would be Hollywood without them? 🙄

Iron sky is a Finnish film even if it looks US made.

I always liked their name. A kind of poetry.

Yep  - I know Stephane. A Finnish - German - Australian production to be accurate. And nearly 1 million was generated by crowd founding.

Of course it's just another modern trash film. All clichés are served here too; however everyone gets their fat away here! Ideologies end up in the garbage dump of history. Apart from that you see sort of retro-futuristic spaceships & saucers; that still look like they had built 80 years ago ...

Just a big fun - give it a try! 😂

What a wonderful re-purposing of a very plain boat. Why do you suppose there's a penguin on the bow? That is a charming box.

Couldn’t let that one pass without referencing the classic “penguin on the television” sketch...
