I had made 6 full scale metal repro's of the target earth robot for Fred Barton Productions and in order to make metal scale robots you first make card board templates. So I used very dense card board in fact its "skid" card board that is placed on wood pallets befor they load the pallets with what ever they are packing. So its very dense, not like a cardboard box type carboard at all, its more like flexible wood.
