At first glance this guy looked like others, but with further inspection it has included a pincushion on the back like WW2 figures as well as a sewing type flexible cloth tape measure that pulls out from the base. I think it's a cold war inspired piece to attract a wider base of people. Although this one I purchased had no box I found one with box online. Made in Japan. Dist. By M.B.D. Co. It is touched up in the same area as the one in the photo. I think it is absolutely brilliant! It's my first, I am on the look out for others.
