space.trucks
Have shown one of these here before. Made in Japan, 2001 date on the pamphlet. Still no clue what a "Chocovader" is but am pretty sure they were bulk vend coinop / gumball machine type toys. Left: "Spring" Type Alien Right: Spaceman Very soft vinyl type plastic. Peg together at waist and one shoulder, alien head detachable and also came with stand, as he is top heavy. Blechroboter
Awesome space figures! That´s the kind of aliens I like, full of fantasy. Btw: Is Chocovader something like Darthvader?
SERIOUSBOB
I actually have an entire set of these. These figures came w/ a chocolate 'egg' in tinfoil wrapper. There's a store here in NYC that specializes in Japanese collectibles. I order like 3 or 4 cases when they became available. That's how I got the set
Tinplate6
I love these figures! I discovered them while I was stationed in Japan. I have all but 5 of them in my collection. (click the photo to see a larger image) These are supposed to represent one of each of the reported sightings worldwide, based on eyewitness accounts. Although I think more than one are based on movies or popular culture. The paintwork and details on these tiny pieces is amazing...far better that most toys three times their size. Along with each alien was a separate ship to collect as well, but I just didn’t have room for all of them ( plus, I was getting fat eating all those chocolate eggs). In addition to the standard sets, there were two mail away pieces...a dead cow (too bad, I missed that one), and two aliens performing tests on a human abductee. That one I do have... Finally, there was a mail away booklet that explained the history of alien visitations and abductions, which includes a two page bio on each figure, with photos of the alien and it’s ship, as well as a map showing where in the world it was reported. Too bad bad it is all in Japanese.
ervino
The Chocovaders are, IMO, one of the best Japanese space-themed "capsule toys" ever produced, second only, maybe, to the SF3D/Ma.K series (https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&biw=1695&bih=873&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=VJo6XcqWBaaFhbIPnJGUuA4&q=sf3d+capsule+toys) . Personally I like most the UFOs respect to the aliens figures, but, as always, it is a matter of tastes... E.
space.trucks
THAT'S AWESOME!!!!! Holy Crap! I want that guy in green on top shelf 4th from the right. And the Claw Robot in the pamphlet. Incredible set! Cannot relate how bad I had to have that spaceman with the baton instant I saw it. Very different things and I was surprised at how high in quality once I had my first. Then again they're from Japan. Dang. What is meant by "season" i.e. 2nd Season figures vs 3rd Season figures. Was there a show?? or are they referring to series of figures being released in groups called a season?

SERIOUSBOB
Here's more Japanese capsule toy aliens also based on UFO sightings or events around the world. There are about 6-10 years old.The more realistic ones say 'studio too!' on the bottom.

SERIOUSBOB
My Chocovader figures are packed away somewhere in my storage space. I'm sure I have duplicates. I would have to spend a few hours digging them out! LOL! I know I have a box of various greys & modern day aliens, I even have the orange guys & the farmer pictured above. I'm about to go away on business for a week, PM me after 8/12 when I return to remind me.

ejpetrie
Those little Chocovaders are some of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Sorry I missed their release, but I will be keeping my eyes open for them now. Thanks for sharing!
