Petrel Toys Saturn Moonbus

Disassembled toy

No idea who "Petrel Toys" was but they based their design on a Nitto model kit designed by Shusei Nagaoka. Petrel dispensed with the walking legs of the larger Japanese toy/model and put silly wheels instead.  So I reconstructed the original design using Contrail plastic strips. The missile is taken from a Dragon model kit.

Sorry about the links, I just can't find how to display pictures stored on the Net. As this come from my site, I need to put a link. (the "drag here" button works fine for pictures on my PC however)

It's best not to try to link pictures stored on the net. They always disappear.

Download images to your computer, then upload them in your post.

The final model with the ugly wheels replaced by the correct legs.

Boxart of the NITTO model which has obviously inspired PETREL.  This is not the original box but a reissue of the 90's.
