Brian..
URGENT I just noticed a possible wiring error on one of the Diamond robots which could lead to overheating when the robot is switched off. When it arrives put batteries in just check that the wires emerging from the battery don't heat up when the switch is in the OFF position. If it overheats contact me and I will run you through a 5 minute fix.

Brian..
I've checked a couple that I have here and there's no fault, but I can see the potential for a mix up of the wires. I just want to be safe. The fix is something that can be done by anyone in about five minutes.

Ranger
Postie has just been, Christmas has come early. Then again my wife says it’s like Christmas every week! 😳. Don’t know what she means. 🤔
Brian..
Quick way to check is to put batteries in. If there is any warming of the battery leads when the switch is in the OFF position then you have the problem. There's no risk of fire (it's only 3v) but the plastic could deform and the batteries will drain. The repair: Remove the base (four screws) Cut the two red wires off the switch (cut close to the switch) Bare the ends and join them. Tape the joint.
