Joe K. Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 This thread from 2008 should help: Short answer: A. Put the box in a bag or box along with a opened box of baking soda. The baking soda should eventually absorb the odors. B. Put the box in a room with an ozone machine. It, too, should eventually negate the smoke smell. No need to spend hundreds of dollars for a large unit. There are small, plug-in units that will work just as well. Put it in a small bathroom and keep the door shut.
