kennetzel
Hi all. I know it's a bit early, yet April is only two and a half months away. My wife got her Vacation request form for the year the other day and was wondering if there is any buz about this year's event. May as well get the ball rolling. kennetzel
Is there any thoughts on venue this year? I remember it being up in the air last year.
Morbius
Well, Kelly and I are planning to do Botstock as far as we know, a date nearer the end of the month of May has always been a great time to gather and would likely be best for us this year. We do love gathering at Joe's (hint...hint...) what do the masses think? Thanks Ken for getting this rolling, we were just talking about this at home this past week. kennetzel
I feel the same way as you, Morbius...hint and all. lol. Let's see what the others think. Input anyone?
Kronos57
Can't make 4, 5, 6 May, other than that I am flexible.

Kanaan
As of now, May is fairly open. I don't have any home renovations, writing retreats, SF conventions, or training classes booked. I'd be curious to see where everyone decides to hold Botstock this year.
kennetzel
Everybody seems to be leaning towards May. So I guess that leaves the Chicago Toy Show out of the mix...that's usually in April. Personally I would have no problem if it is held at the usual location. But that's up to Joe.
Morbius
Joe's is our favourite spot, Kelly and I agree.
kennetzel
Anyone have any ideas yet...it's February already...May will be here before you know it. Only three months away.
Morbius
With Kelly and I it all depends on if she's working or not at the time, we'll try our best to get to Joe's if he will have us again. Chicago toy show was incredible years ago, too much robot overload and vintage toys in general. Too much for this old collector.
kennetzel
I enjoyed the toy show...got one of my Remco Lost in Space Robots at the last one. I wouldn't mind going back some day. But like I said, that's in April and people are leaning towards May.
