I'm working on a plan to steal it.

It's only a zinc alloy, not Sterling or Gold...

The eighth museum to have acquired Astro Mfg. and Duro Mold & Mfg mechanical banks chose just two specimen: A Berzac Creation Guided Missile Bank and a Destination Moon Bank.

The Guided Missile Bank has a label promoting a bank in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and the Destination Moon Bank had been signed by Mercury Astronaut Scott Carpenter.

President John F. Kennedy once owned a Berzac Creation Guided Missile Bank which, through a short time, worked its way from the Oval Office down through his secretary's office to daughter Carolyn's bedroom. It eventually ended up on the auction block of a prestigious Auctioneer and sold for around $1,912.

Nice! I have that particular rocket bank though it has a bent fin from a poor packaging situation.  😕

Those fins can bend pretty easily...did the seller offer a Partial Refund for their insufficient packing job?

I did get compensation but it still bums me out that it was mint in box.

I feel your pain...happened to me a couple of times...

A Commemorative Strato Bank was mint until the seller's shipper dropped it, scratching the chrome finish in two places...

I insisted on a significant partial refund (%50) and got it.
